SIX CARD GOLF

OBJECTIVE OF SIX CARD GOLF: The objective of Six Card Golf is to be the player with the lowest score at the end of nine rounds.

NUMBER OF PLAYERS: 2 to 4 Players

MATERIALS: 1 Standard 52 Card Deck

TYPE OF GAME: Shedding Card Game

AUDIENCE: Ages eight and up

OVERVIEW OF SIX CARD GOLF

This is the perfect game to pass some time while inside. Just like in actual golf, players attempt to have the lowest score possible. It is played throughout nine holes, ending after they have all been played. Other variations of the game exist to make it more interesting and accommodate more players.

SETUP

Firstly, the players must establish the playing area and assign the first dealer. The dealer will then shuffle the cards and deal six cards to each player, facing down. The rest of the deck is then placed in the middle of the table, face down, with the top card revealed. This card is put beside the draw pile, creating the discard pile.

Players will then organize their cards into two rows of three directly in front of them. They will choose two cards to turn face up, leaving the remainder of their cards face down. The game is then ready to begin!

Scoring

Ace: 1 point added

Two: 2 points taken

Number cards from three to ten: points added equal to point value

Jack: 10 points added

Queen: 10 points added

King: no points

Pair of equal cards: zero points as long as they are in the same column

GAMEPLAY

Players have a mutual goal, with all of them attempting to have the lowest score when the game ends. Each player will lower their score by trading their cards for lesser cards or creating a pair to score no points. The player to the left of the dealer will begin the game.

Players take turns by choosing to draw a card from the draw pile or discard pile. The card may either be traded for a card in their hand, or it may immediately be discarded. If the player decides to trade their cards, the traded card must stay face up in front of them.

Gameplay continues in this manner until all of the players’ cards become face up. At this point, the round comes to an end. Players may tally their points and reshuffle the cards. Another round begins. After nine rounds, the game ends. 메이저검증

At the end of nine deals, the game comes to an end. Players tally their score, and the winner is determined. The player with the lowest score wins!
