  OBJECT OF 13 DEAD END DRIVE:  The object of 13 Dead End Drive is to be the last alive or have your portrait on the wall. This can be done by controlling the character whose portrait is on the way when that character leaves the house or when the detective enters the house. You can also win by being the only surviving character. SETUP The mansion should be assembled and setup.   GLOOM OBJECT OF GLOOM:  The object of Gloom is to have the family with the most negative self-worth at the end of the game. NUMBER OF PLAYERS:  2 to 5 players MATERIALS:  A rule book, 20 characters split into 4 families, 2 rule cards, 57 card modifiers, 11 card events, and 20 death cards. TYPE OF GAME:  Storytelling Card Game AUDIENCE:  13+ OVERVIEW OF GLOOM Gloom is a game of strife for 2 to 5 players. The goal of the game is to have the most miserable family by the end of the game. This is accomplished by playing cards to affect the characters’ scores and spinning tells of woe until finally laying your characters to rest. SETUP The first ordeal is to choose your family. Each player will take a family deck. In a 4-player game, one family member is discarded to make the game time shorter, and in a 5-player game, this band of misfits becomes the final family.   OBJECT OF THE MYSTERIOUS FOREST:  The object of The Mysterious Forest is to collect all the needed equipment to get through the forest and defeat the Queen of Draconia NUMBER OF PLAYERS:  2 to 4 players MATERIALS:  24 path cards (1 start card, 13 forest cards, 4 wander cards, and 6 battle cards), 55 various equipment tokens (which include four of each: magnifying glass, rope, crystal bag, compass, flowers, swords, gloves, capes, maps, Draconia claws, lighters, and 11 Loki tokens), 2 wander tokens, 1 board, 1 figure, and 4 dice. NUMBER OF PLAYERS:  4 players MATERIALS:  A modified deck of 52-cards, a way to keeps score, and a flat surface. TYPE OF GAME:  Trick-Taking Card Game AUDIENCE:  Teens, Adults OVERVIEW OF KLAVERJASSEN Klaverjassen is a trick-taking card game for 4 players in partnerships of 2. The goal of the game is to be the team to score the most points by the end of the game.  A game consists of 16 rounds, and each round is scored before the next starts. SETUP The deck must be modified first by removing all cards 6s and lower. This leaves a deck of 32 cards.  The first dealer is chosen at random and passes to the left for each new round. The dealer will shuffle the deck and deal each player a hand of 8 cards. this can be done in groups of 3,2 and 3 cards or two groups of 4 cards. NUMBER OF PLAYERS:  3 players MATERIALS:  A standard deck of 52-cards, a way to keeps score, and a flat surface. TYPE OF GAME:  Trick-Taking Card Game AUDIENCE:  Teens, Adults OVERVIEW OF KNAVES Knaves is a trick-taking game for 3 players. The goal of the game is to be the first player to score 20 or more points. Players play for themselves, though losing players may form temporary alliances. Players will try to win as many tricks as possible while simultaneously trying to not win jacks. SETUP The first dealer is chosen at random and passes to the left for each new round. NUMBER OF PLAYERS:  4 players MATERIALS:  A modified deck of 52-cards, a way to keeps score, and a flat surface. TYPE OF GAME:  Trick-Taking Card Game AUDIENCE:  Teens, Adults OVERVIEW OF KLOEPPER Kloepper is a trick-taking card game for 4 players. The goal of the game is to be the first player to score 30 points. Players play in partnerships, but these change each round depending on who has what cards. SETUP The deck must be modified first by removing all cards 8 and lower. This leaves a deck of 24 cards. One player will agree to keep score and the player to their left will be the first dealer, proceeding clockwise for each new round. The dealer will shuffle the deck and deal each player a hand of 6 cards. This is done in batches of 3 cards at a time. Players who hold the two black queens will be partners. NUMBER OF PLAYERS:  2 to 4 players MATERIALS:  A rule book, a game board, 4 character pieces, 34 maze tiles, and 24 object cards. TYPE OF GAME:  Maze Board Game AUDIENCE:  8+ OVERVIEW OF LABYRINTH Labyrinth is a maze board game for 2 to 4 players. The goal of the game is to make your way through the maze, collecting your needed objects, before returning to the start of the maze to win. SETUP Shuffle the maze tiles and place them randomly on the board to create a randomized maze. The remaining tile will be used to move the maze around so place it near the game board.
