OBJECTIVE OF THE QUICK WITS: The objective of Quick Wits is to win more cards than any other player.

NUMBER OF PLAYERS: 3 or More Players

MATERIALS: 126 Match Cards, 10 Link Cards, 6 Battle Cards, 3 Trivia Cards, 3 Charades Cards, and Instructions

TYPE OF GAME: Party Card Game

AUDIENCE: 17 and up

OVERVIEW OF QUICK WITS

Quick Wit is exactly what it sounds like, a game for those with a quick wit. Players must pay close attention as cards are being revealed throughout the group. They must notice if their card matches with any other and attempt to answer before their opponent. If they are able to answer, and answer correctly, the card is theirs. After all, that is the goal. Collect more cards than any other players, and you can become the winner!

SETUP

Setup is quick and simple. Someone will shuffle the deck and place it in the middle of the playing area. This is the Quick Wits pile. The game is then ready to begin.

GAMEPLAY

The first player, whoever is chosen by the group, will reveal a card from the pile. They must do it quickly, because all of the players should be able to see it at the same time. Going clockwise around the group, each player will reveal a card from the stack, leaving it directly in front of them facing up. 파워볼사이트

This continues until a match is made. When two players reveal cards with the same symbol, it is considered a match. Players must then quickly try and give an example of the word on their opponent’s card. The answer must be correct. The first player to answer correctly gets to keep their opponent’s card in their Score Pile.

Now, matches can occur between any players. Players continue to draw cards and make matches. Only the top card of a player’s match pile counts as a match. Answers may not be repeated during the game. Gameplay continues until all cards have been played. Scores are then tallied, and the player with the most points wins!

Link Cards

When Link Cards are drawn they are placed beside the Quick Wits pile. The symbols found on the Link Card match, which increases the chances of more matches being made. Pay close attention to the potential matches. Link Cards can be used by all players, and they continue to be in effect until the next Link Card is drawn.

Battle Cards

Battle Cards are placed beside the score pile of the player who drew it. When another player draws a Battle Card, the battle ensues. The two players then wager cards in their Score Pile. The players guess on a card, and another player will flip a card in the Quick Wits pile. The player who is correct earns all cards that were wagered. The revealed card is then returned to the Quick Wits pile.

Trivia Cards

If a player draws a Mystery Card, they are able to ask the players in the group a random question of their choice. The first player to get the answer correct earns the card.

Charades Cards

Players must act something out when they draw a Charades Card. The first person to correctly guess what the player is trying to act out wins the card.

END OF GAME

The game comes to an end when all cards have been played. Players will then tally all of the cards in their Score Piles. The player with the most cards, wins the game!
